Excessive
Hair growth on face
is a distressing condition in young women. The
exact cause for this state is not known clearly
and in the most cases there is no specific cause
for excessive hair growth. Probably some glandular
disturbance, tumors arising in ovaries, adrenal
glands, and other endocrine organs are some times
responsible for this condition.
Excessive Hair growth on face can be removed effectively
and permanently by Electrolysis
and laser hair removal. Laser treatment
targets the dark color of the melanin pigment
in the hair follicle. Thus, the root of the hair
is compromised with little effect on the skin
and surrounding tissue.
But these hair removal methods
are tedious and expensive and to be performed
by the experts and with latest equipment.
There are certain chemicals
/ hair removers available in the market
and that can be tried but these may cause skin
irritation / allergies. Take a test dose before
using any new product. If any itching, redness
or irritation develops, immediately discard that
product.
Threading, plucking, or
waxing are other ways to remove unwanted
hair and these services are available in all beauty
parlors at nominal charges. Threading is considered
less painful than plucking and it's good for eyebrows
and facial hair. Like plucking, results can last
up to 2-3 weeks. The precut
wax strips or hair-removal kits are available
in the market.
But the simplest, cheapest or less tedious method
is to shave the unwanted
hair as often as you need and for this
you need only a good quality shaving set and few
minutes!! To avoid shaving-related rashes, or
irritation, use a good quality fresh blade preferably
twine blades and replace it after three or four
shaves.
Applying turmeric and Bengal
gram flour will help to remove the unwanted
hair but it require continuous use for a long
period.
The apricot and honey peel
off pack is found very useful in the treatment
of facial hair. Constant uses over a period of
time weaken the roots of facial hair and discourage
facial hair growth.
Mix equal quantities of turmeric powder and wheat
flour and make a paste with sesame
oil. Apply it to the face to remove unwanted
hair.
