“The condition of your hair reflects the condition of your health”. This statement is disputable but we spend more time and money to care the hair than any other single feature of the body. We frequently care the hair by cutting, brushing, curling, coloring, drying, oiling, and cleaning and so on. The reason behind this is (whether we accept or not) the hair has an important role in our physical appearance/ beauty/ personality.

Hair loss afflicts millions of people, both men and women though the hair loss is often the most noticeable in men. Sudden loss of hair in certain areas, a condition called alopecia areata may be some times caused by an extreme shock and this will clear up in few weeks. Temporary baldness may occur following a fever or some prolonged illness and this hair usually return after recovery from the illness.

There are many factors that result in hair loss include heredity, hormones imbalances, menopause, dietary protein and amino acid deficiency, intestinal parasites, damage from hair treatments, aging and improper diet, general health, underlying health problem such as hypothyroidism or infection and stresses and strains of your everyday life. Anemia is one of the most frequent causes of hair loss. Hair loss can also occur due to fungal and other skin infections. If you are not healthy and not taking care of yourself and not following a healthy diet then your hair will lose its health and lead to baldness .

The male hormone, testosterone, is vital in physiology of balding. Treating with testosterone can stimulate dormant hair follicles in to growth, but giving testosterone cause unwanted side effect.
