- Home made Remedies for Obesity |

There
are many Home Remedies available at our kitchen
cupboard, court yard or in and around our home
to loose your extra body fat and weight loss.
Green tea or mint tea, Cabbage, red tomatoes,
curry leaves, Indian plum (jambula), honey etc
are well known for its weight controlling
properties. Always remember the chief
cause of obesity is overeating,
irregular eating habits and not following
the rules of eating or mixing non-compatible food
items in one meal and the best remedy is to Control
your eating habits, exercise regularly
and avoid the causes of weight gain. |

Honey
is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It
mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body
allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal
functions. Make a mixture of 2 tea spoon of
lime juice, one tea spoon of honey and a pinch
of pepper powder in a glass of lukewarm water
and drink at regular intervals.
Fasting on lime juice-honey water is more
beneficial in the treatment of obesity

Drink a glass of hot water after every meal

In the morning, eat 10 fresh curry leaves.
Do this for three or four months.

Slice 2 ripe tomato 1 onions, mix with mint
leaves, a pinch of pepper powder and eat as
a substitute of break fast.

Drink Triphala tea (powder of amalika, bibbtakiand
harithaki - this powder is available online)
twice every day replacing regular tea

A handful of Indian plum leaves should be
soaked overnight in water and this water should
be taken in the morning, preferably on an
empty stomach. This treatment should be continued
for few months to achieve beneficial results.

Cabbage is considered to be an excellent home
remedy for obesity. The tartaric acid present
in this vegetable inhibits the conversion
of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat.
Substituting a meal with cabbage salad would
be the best way to reduce obesity. Fruits
and green vegetables are low calorie foods,
so over weight persons should use these more
frequently.
