There is no magic remedy for obesity, but
you can control it efficiently by increasing
your level of physical activity and reducing
your intake of calories, particularly from
those that are derived from fat.

Take small quantities
of food. Include reasonable amounts of potatoes
and whole-grain cereals in your diet. Eat
slowly.

Avoid
all oily or high in fat food and meats such
as sausages, bacon, and minced beef.

Prepare at least 10 % less food actually needed
to avoid the problem of “left over ”

Gradually reduce the quantity of food to optimum
level and you will be surprised at how well
you feel.

Exercise regularly and moderately and burn
out extra calories. The best exercise is walking.

Avoid rich desserts like ice cream, pastry,
rich cake and sweets, all are high in calories
but low in food value.

Don’t skip meals; eating regularly but
sparingly is important and is the best and
easy way to lose weight.

Be sure to have a good breakfast so that you
will be less tempted to nibble sweets and
snack between meals.

Cut down alcohol.

Use plenty of green leafy vegetables, tomato,
carrots and fruits.
