Recent researches
revealed that the ‘Melatonin’ a
naturally occurring hormone found in bananas,
rice, onions, grape skins and cherries help
you stay young. The researchers led by Prof.
Dario Acuna Castroviejo of the University
of Granada, Spain experimented on mice
and found that the ‘Melatonin’ helped
counteract their age - related process.
Scientists recommended
that if humans took a daily supplement of melatonin
during the age of 30 or 40 then they too could
delay the normal ageing process. The scientists
suggest eating more bananas, rice, onions and
cherries to boost their melatonin level to delay
ageing.
Eat at least one
banana a day, they are said to contain everything
a human needs and they contain all the 8 amino
acids our body cannot produce itself. Bananas
are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin
C; Red bananas are often dried and converted
to meal, which is used in many ways. Banana
and milk supplement each other in an ideal manner
and provide all the needed nutrients to the
body.
Studies have also
shown that a glass of red wine (not more!) a
day may protect your heart and also can help
to protect some type cancers.
