Festivity - Easter - Holy week and Seven
 
They are Palm Sunday, Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday (sometimes called Spy Wednesday), Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday), Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
 
The Seven Last Words of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel traditions are:
“Father, forgive them! They don’t know what they are doing”.. (Luke 23:34)
“This day you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43)
“Dear woman, here is your son.” (John 19:26)
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” (Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34)
“I am thirsty.” (John 19:28)
“It is finished!” (John 19:30)
“Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” (Luke 23:46)

Jesus was threatened seven times
  • By Herod (Matt. 2: 16)
  • By his hometown (Luke 4: 29)

  • Because He healed on the Sabbath (John 5: 16; Luke 6: 10)
