Eid
ul-Fitr starts the day after Ramadan ends,
and is verified by the sighting of the new moon.
The first Eid was celebrated in 624 CE by the
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with his friends and relatives
after the victory of the battle of Jang-e-Badar.
'Eid, means “festivity” in Arabic.
This is the Day of Thanksgiving
to Allah, for giving the opportunity to
fast and to worship Him in the month of Ramadan.
On this day Muslims show their real joy for the
health, strength and the opportunities of life,
which Allah has given to them. Muslims celebrate
this occasion by wearing new clothes, which they
get stitched before hand and visit mosque early
in the morning. Men generally wear white clothes
whish symbolizes purity. The entire day of Eid-Ul-Fitr
is celebrated by visiting other’s houses
or receiving guests and shares the Delicious food.
It is a day of forgiveness, peace, brotherhood
and unity.
Muslims attend Eid (Id)
prayers at the mosque
and give Zakah (Zakat-ul-Fitr),
a charitable donation, to ensure
that all, rich and poor alike, can participate
in the festivities. There are special services
out of doors and in Mosques and processions through
the streets .The customs associated with breaking
the fast stem from the teachings of the Koran,
but are also determined by local variations.

Eid-ul Fitr (at the End of Ramadan) and Edul adha
(at the end of Hajj). There are much kind of greeting
